Five years ago I started a transformation from life as a software engineer towards something more flexible and creative. Photography had long been an interest of mine and the freedom brought on by a new digital camera was explosive.
Grabbing my camera, I sold everything I owned and left my home in Canada to explore the world through the lens. Whereas previously I spent my days in front of the computer, I was now eager to get out and travel, breath some fresh air, and if need be, even have a good time too.
After travelling for a year South East Asia became my new base. I've spent countless hours capturing the things I see. I look for an interesting combination of meaning, form, geometry, texture, or colour. That's what I like and maybe you'll find something here you like.
Today I'm back in front of the computer using my old skills in new ways. I work on my images, developing and retouching them digitally to expose my own vision. I'm focusing on a number of personal projects involving web design and imagery. And I'm exploring ways to sustain my life via the internet.
This web site is running on a dedicated server hosted near Chicago. I have plenty of space and speed available and can offer one-to-one personal service on a fully managed website package suitable for photographers or other purposes.
